Lapis Lazuli has truly been mined and valued as a gemstone for millennia now. Lapis consists of a combination of different stones: mainly lazurite, sodalite, calcite, pyrite, and marble. Therefore, it is concodered one of the feldspar substitutes or feldspatoids. With a hardness of 5-5.5 on the Mohs scale, it is a fairly soft stone, so be careful not to scratch it!

 

 

The stone represents sincere and loving relationships. Lapis is said to support in integrity, the thought process, intelligence, concentration, confidence, optimism, and meditation. A fantastic wingman in difficult and stressful times.
